Fender Contemporary Stratocaster, manufactured in Japan between 1984 and 1987. This Stratocaster has a solid body with a sleek glossy finish, available in classic colors such as Black, Burgundy Mist, Candy Apple Red, Frost White, and Pewter (this one is Burgundy Mist). The neck is maple (bolt-on), the fretboard is rosewood, 22 frets. The Contemporary Stratocaster is equipped with SSS original single coils. Hardware: Originally designed with a locking nut to improve tuning stability, but on this Contemporary it has been professionally replaced with a standard nut.
