Description
Samick ‘Johnny Pro II’ Korea 1970’s Neck Through Double Cut Guitar
This is a Samick also seen with brand Johnny Pro II, a solid and reliable guitar built in Korea during the late 1970s or early 1980s. These models were Samick’s take on high-end, performance-oriented guitars, featuring a neck-through design. The fretboard has an out of this world looks, super dark rosewood, finely grained!
This particular guitar is in good condition for its age. The truss rod works, and has a nice full medium sized neck. There are a few surface cracks in the fretboard bindings, but nothing structural – they don’t affect playability. The nut has been replaced with a Tusq/NuBone.
It has a double humbucker setup with individual volume and tone controls, and a 3-way selector switch. The neck-through maple striping looks fantastic against the natural finish. Hardware is fully functional and the guitar holds tune well.
No case is included, but the guitar is ready to play
