Vantage 635V Semi Hollow Korea 1990’s

The Vantage 635V is a semi-hollow electric guitar made in Korea by Samick during the 1990s under the Vantage name. It takes inspiration from the Gibson ES-335 style. Built with a laminated maple body and a set neck, it delivers resonance, sustain, and a warmth that makes it excellent for blues, jazz, and classic rock. The model was part of Vantage’s 600 Series, a well-regarded line of hollow and semi-hollow guitars, produced after the brand shifted from Japanese Matsumoku factories to Samick in Korea.

This particular guitar is in good condition with some scratches from use. The original pickguard is still included, though the truss-rod cover looks to have been replaced. It has been fully checked, cleaned, and is ready to play. Set-neck construction. It’s an excellent example of the kind of quality Samick was able to produce for Vantage at a price point that still feels like a bargain today.
